Common Installation FAQ’s.

  • Our standard Ready-to-Assemble steps require at least one extra person to help with lifting and placing parts. The sidewalls and treads do get heavy, so its neither safe or ideal to do by yourself. If you have an extra set of hands around, this will be a breeze.

  • While we have simplified the process of assembly, there are still tools required. You’ll need a power drill, a level, tape measure, 9/16” socket and a 7/16” socket.

  • No, your step comes with all the hardware you’ll need to assemble. We even include the adhesive for the steps and drill bit for the rails!

  • Basic construction knowledge is non-essential. As long as you can operate a power tool, this will be a piece of cake. We make the process as simple as possible.

  • Typical assembly time is less than 30 minutes.

  • You can get over 40 years of service if you don’t use de-icers. If de-icers are used, your concrete steps can become significantly damaged (spawled) over just one winter’s time.

  • Steel re-enforced concrete treads have a non-skid broom finish and a square nose. They are the least expensive, and in some applications stronger but, are unable to withstand de-icers of any kind. Indiana Limestone has a grey to cream appearance and a chiseled nose. Although more expensive, this stone is resistant to de-icers with proper care.

  • Yes, delivery is available across the country. We are proud to be the first to precast company to palletize and ship our step products!

  • Yes. The designs have been load tested, far exceeding state building code.

  • Nope! We incorporate our luxurious stone finish into ever mold, traditionally an added expense.
