Step Measurement Guide
Three quick measurements in less than 5 minutes is all our customers need to get started designing their dream step. Grab your tape measure and lets get started…
1. Step Width
This measurement is a largely a personal choice...just be mindful of what’s to the left and right! Measure the width of the entryway, then add some space on each side to your liking.
2. Number of Risers
This is the most important measurement! Measure from the threshold down to finish grade. Then use our step dimension table to determine how many risers you will need.
Again, this is all about your personal preference. Standard platform sizes are 14”, 28”, 42” and 56”.
